Health Issues and Floor Coatings
The
Enviropro commitment is
to never produce any solventbourne coatings and in particular never to
use any class 2 carcinogenic Toluene Diisocyanate, TDI.
Some simple facts are:
- Enviropro products are classified as non-toxic, in that they do not require personal protection from fumes during normal use.
- All solventborne products are classified as toxic in that they require respirator use in their normal use.

Negative pressure cartridge respirators simply do not work for class 2 carcinogenic TDI that is contained in all one and two pack solventborne polyurethanes.

All cartridge respirator manufacturers and major manufacturers of solventborne polyurethanes clearly state that the only respirator to use for guaranteed TDI protection are full face forced air types.
